About the Role

In this critical role, you will be responsible for assessing the security posture of smart contracts, decentralized applications (dApps), and entire blockchain protocols for a diverse portfolio of clients. Your expertise will be vital in identifying vulnerabilities, mitigating risks, and ensuring the integrity and safety of digital assets. This position requires a deep understanding of attack vectors, security best practices, and a proactive approach to threat detection within the fast‑paced crypto landscape. You will lead a team of security analysts, mentor junior auditors, and liaise directly with client technical teams to provide actionable security recommendations. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive security audits of smart contracts written in languages like Solidity, Vyper, and Rust.
• Analyze the security of decentralized applications (dApps), identifying potential exploits and vulnerabilities.
• Perform thorough risk assessments of blockchain protocols and associated infrastructure.
• Develop and implement advanced security testing methodologies and tools.
• Provide detailed audit reports with clear explanations of identified issues and practical remediation strategies.
• Lead and mentor a team of junior security auditors, fostering their technical growth and professional development.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their specific security needs and guide them through the remediation process.
• Stay abreast of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security trends within the blockchain and cryptocurrency space.
• Contribute to the development of internal security best practices and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in smart contract auditing and blockchain security analysis.
• Proficiency in analyzing code written in Solidity, Vyper, Rust, or similar languages.
• Deep knowledge of common smart contract vulnerabilities (e.g., reentrancy, integer overflows, front‑running).
• Experience with static and dynamic analysis tools for smart contracts.
• Familiarity with various blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Solana, Polkadot) and their security models.
• Strong understanding of cryptography, network security, and system architecture.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Blockchain Security Professional) are a plus.
