Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product location, information, and purchasing decisions.
• Process customer transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor and stockroom.
• Receive, unpack, and display merchandise according to store standards.
• Replenish stock on shelves and racks as needed.
• Handle customer inquiries and provide basic support or direct them to the appropriate personnel.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
• Support the store team in achieving daily sales and operational goals.
• Engage customers to create a welcoming and helpful shopping atmosphere.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock management tasks.

Requirements

• Previous customer service or retail experience is preferred but not essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting and stocking.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, in Mossel Bay .
• Basic math skills for cash handling.
• Must be able to work collaboratively within a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
