Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and vulnerability analyses of aviation IT infrastructure and systems.
• Develop and implement advanced cybersecurity strategies and protocols to protect against threats.
• Monitor network traffic and security alerts, responding effectively to incidents and breaches.
• Perform penetration testing and security audits to identify and remediate weaknesses.
• Design and deploy security solutions for aviation networks, software, and hardware components.
• Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies relevant to the aviation industry.
• Develop and deliver cybersecurity awareness training for relevant personnel.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to enhance overall security posture.
• Create and maintain detailed security documentation, policies, and procedures.
• Respond to and manage security incidents, coordinating recovery efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, with specific experience in the aviation or critical infrastructure sectors.
• Deep understanding of network security principles, cryptography, and security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
• Proficiency in security monitoring tools, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and SIEM platforms.
• Experience with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing methodologies and tools.
• Knowledge of aviation-specific security standards and regulations is highly advantageous.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically under pressure.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, effective in a remote team environment.
