About the Role

Our client, a leading software development firm in George , Western Cape, is actively searching for a motivated Web Development Apprentice to join their innovative tech team. You will work closely with senior developers, contributing to client projects and gaining practical experience in front-end and back-end development. This role is based full-time in our George office, offering direct mentorship and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and maintenance of web applications using various programming languages (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, PHP).
• Collaborate with designers and senior developers to translate UI/UX designs into functional web pages.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews and testing to ensure quality and identify bugs.
• Learn and implement database management concepts.
• Assist in troubleshooting and debugging existing web applications.
• Stay updated with the latest web development trends and technologies.
• Contribute to project documentation and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• A foundational understanding of programming concepts.
• A familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Python).
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS is essential.
• A keen interest in web technologies and a strong desire to learn.
• Problem-solving skills and a logical approach to tasks.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and follow instructions.

• Matriculation certificate with a strong focus on technical subjects or equivalent.
• Residency in or willingness to relocate to George , Western Cape.
