Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and engineering of geothermal power plants and direct-use systems.
• Oversee subsurface exploration, resource assessment, and well design for geothermal resource development.
• Manage the integration of geothermal systems with existing energy infrastructure and smart grids.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to maximize energy output and system efficiency.
• Conduct technical reviews, risk assessments, and feasibility studies for new geothermal projects.
• Collaborate with geological and drilling teams to ensure successful resource exploitation.
• Supervise and mentor a team of engineers and technical specialists.
• Ensure all projects comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in the Energy industry.

Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD in Geothermal Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the geothermal energy sector, with a proven track record in system design and project leadership.
• Extensive knowledge of reservoir engineering, thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics relevant to geothermal systems.
• Demonstrated experience in geothermal well drilling, completion, and production operations.
• Proficiency in relevant software for reservoir modeling and system simulation (e.g., EGS, TOUGH2).
• Strong leadership, project management, and team-building skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
