Senior Sales Manager - Foodservice

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets within the foodservice channel.
• Lead, mentor, and coach a team of foodservice sales representatives, setting clear objectives and driving performance.
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities and key accounts within the foodservice industry.
• Manage and strengthen relationships with existing key customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform sales strategies.
• Develop and implement effective pricing and promotional strategies for the foodservice segment.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Operations teams to ensure seamless product delivery and customer support.
• Monitor sales performance, prepare regular reports, and provide insights to senior management.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with key clients and partners.
• Represent the company at industry events and trade shows.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive sales experience within the FMCG sector, with a strong focus on the foodservice channel.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth in a competitive market.
• Demonstrated experience in managing and leading sales teams.
• Strong understanding of the foodservice industry, including key players and market dynamics.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic thinking and strong analytical capabilities.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in CRM software and sales reporting tools.
