About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Senior Automotive Service Advisor to join their reputable dealership in Stellenbosch, Western Cape. Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers professionally and actively listen to understand their vehicle service needs.
• Accurately diagnose customer concerns and translate them into clear work orders for technicians.
• Provide customers with detailed explanations of needed repairs, services, and associated costs.
• Generate service estimates and quotes, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
• Schedule service appointments efficiently, optimizing workshop capacity.
• Maintain open communication with customers throughout the repair process, providing updates.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive service and problem resolution.
• Process repair orders, invoices, and payments accurately.
• Collaborate effectively with the service manager and technicians to ensure smooth workflow.
• Stay informed about manufacturer service updates, recalls, and promotions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Automotive Service Advisor, with a strong track record in customer service and sales.
• In-depth knowledge of automotive systems, repair procedures, and common vehicle issues.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficiency in using dealership management systems (DMS) and automotive diagnostic software.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer-centric mindset with a commitment to exceeding expectations.
• Valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or equivalent; post‑secondary education in automotive technology or business is an advantage.
• A professional demeanor and appearance.
