About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop efficient production system layouts, considering material flow, equipment placement, and ergonomic factors.
• Analyze production requirements and capacity constraints to ensure systems meet business needs.
• Evaluate and recommend production technologies and equipment to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Develop process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
• Conduct time and motion studies to optimize task efficiency and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with R&D and product development teams to ensure manufacturability of new designs.
• Implement process improvements using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Collect and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and track performance metrics.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant safety and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in industrial engineering, with a focus on manufacturing processes and system design.
• Proven experience in designing production layouts and optimizing workflows.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement techniques.
• Proficiency in CAD software for layout design and simulation tools for process analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, essential for remote teamwork.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Understanding of supply chain and logistics principles is a plus.
