Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives and market trends.
• Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including purchase order creation, tracking, and receipt.
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or service.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records and databases.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and provide timely solutions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and relevant regulations.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
• Demonstrated experience in negotiating complex contracts and managing supplier relationships.
• Strong understanding of procurement principles, best practices, and relevant legislation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a demanding environment located in Johannesburg, Gauteng, ZA.
