The Retail Team Lead will support the store management team by guiding sales associates, ensuring excellent customer service, and assisting with daily operations. Key Responsibilities

• Assist store management in daily operations and customer service excellence.
• Guide and motivate retail sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide outstanding service.
• Ensure merchandise is displayed attractively and stores are maintained to high standards.
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and stocktaking.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve customer issues promptly and professionally.
• Support the training and onboarding of new team members.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative team atmosphere.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a retail sales associate or in a similar customer-facing role.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic understanding of retail sales principles.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.
• Familiarity with POS systems is an advantage.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and some public holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to reliably commute to Tembisa, Gauteng .
