Senior Mobile Application Developer (iOS)

About the Role

Our client, a cutting-edge technology firm specializing in innovative mobile solutions, is seeking an experienced Senior Mobile Application Developer with a strong focus on iOS development. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while contributing to the creation of high-impact mobile applications used by a global audience. You will be a key player in the entire app lifecycle, from concept and design through to testing and deployment. Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain advanced applications for the iOS platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and maintainable Swift or Objective-C code.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks, fix bugs, and improve application performance.
• Integrate with backend services and third-party APIs.
• Work with the product and design teams to translate requirements and mockups into functional features.
• Implement automated testing strategies to ensure code quality.
• Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.
• Stay abreast of the latest iOS development trends, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in native iOS application development.
• Proficiency in Swift and a good understanding of Objective-C.
• Strong experience with iOS frameworks such as UIKit, SwiftUI, Core Data, and Combine.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle, from ideation to release.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for mobile apps.
• Experience with performance and memory tuning tools.
• Proficiency in using version control systems like Git.
• Strong understanding of Apple's design principles and interface guidelines.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, particularly in a remote setting.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., XCTest).
