About the Role

You will be responsible for providing state-of-the-art permanent makeup services, including microblading, powder brows, eyeliner enhancements, and lip blush, to clients across various regions. As this is a remote-first role, you will leverage technology to connect with clients and manage your services, ensuring a seamless and high-quality experience from consultation to aftercare, regardless of your physical location within Polokwane or beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced permanent makeup procedures such as microblading, shading, lip blush, and eyeliner enhancement with precision and artistic flair.
• Conduct thorough virtual and in-person consultations with clients to assess their needs, discuss desired outcomes, and manage expectations.
• Develop bespoke treatment plans tailored to individual facial features and client preferences.
• Ensure impeccable hygiene and sterilization practices for all tools and equipment used during procedures.
• Educate clients on pre-procedure preparation, post-procedure care, and follow-up appointments.
• Maintain accurate client records, including before-and-after photos, treatment details, and consultation notes.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends, techniques, and safety standards in the permanent makeup industry.
• Manage your own schedule and client bookings effectively, utilizing provided remote scheduling tools.
• Engage with clients through virtual channels for follow-up consultations and support.
• Contribute to the development of new techniques and service offerings by providing feedback and insights.

Requirements

• A recognized certification or extensive training in Permanent Makeup application (e.g., microblading, powder brows, lip blush, eyeliner).
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a Permanent Makeup Artist, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse techniques and results.
• Proven expertise in creating natural-looking and aesthetically pleasing permanent makeup.
• Deep understanding of facial anatomy, color theory, and skin types.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and precision in executing detailed procedures.
• Strong knowledge of hygiene, sterilization, and health & safety protocols.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in a virtual consultation setting.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
• A portfolio demonstrating advanced techniques is mandatory.
• Adaptability and a willingness to learn and implement new procedures.
• Experience with remote client management and consultation tools is a significant advantage.
