Senior Program Manager - IT Infrastructure & Cloud

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple complex IT infrastructure and cloud transformation projects concurrently.
• Develop and execute strategic program plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Manage program budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships.
• Oversee the migration of on-premises infrastructure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Ensure the implementation of robust security measures and compliance with industry standards.
• Lead and mentor program teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
• Effectively communicate program status, risks, and issues to executive leadership and stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate program-level risks and dependencies.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the IT infrastructure domain.
• Ensure successful integration of new systems and technologies into the existing environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT project and program management, with a significant focus on infrastructure and cloud technologies.
• Proven experience managing large-scale cloud migration projects (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure components, networking, servers, and data centers.
• Expertise in program management methodologies (e.g., PMI, Agile).
• Exceptional leadership, communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing distributed and remote teams.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, ITIL, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert are highly desirable.
• Ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships at all organizational levels.
• Experience working within the Polokwane, Limpopo business context, while operating remotely, is a plus.
