Internal Communications Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive internal communication strategies and plans.
• Create engaging content for various internal channels, including newsletters, intranet, email, town halls, and team meetings.
• Manage and maintain the company intranet, ensuring information is up-to-date and easily accessible.
• Develop communication plans for key organizational changes, initiatives, and announcements.
• Facilitate employee engagement programs and initiatives to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Measure the effectiveness of internal communication efforts and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
• Support leadership in communicating company vision, mission, values, and strategic priorities.
• Ensure consistent brand messaging and tone of voice across all internal communications.
• Collaborate with HR and other departments to align internal communications with organizational objectives.
• Manage communication flow during crisis situations impacting employees.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or employee engagement.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful internal communication strategies.
• Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences.
• Experience with various internal communication channels and platforms (intranet, email marketing tools, collaboration software).
• Strong understanding of employee engagement principles and best practices.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in using analytics tools to measure communication effectiveness.
• A proactive approach to identifying communication needs and opportunities.
