About the Role

Our client, a large multinational corporation in the manufacturing sector, is looking for an experienced Enterprise Solutions Architect to join their team in **Durban, KwaZulu-Natal**. This role involves designing and overseeing the implementation of comprehensive IT solutions that support the company's strategic objectives across various business units. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture roadmap, ensuring alignment with business strategy and goals.
• Design scalable, reliable, and secure solutions for complex business problems across the organization.
• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and platforms to meet enterprise needs.
• Oversee the implementation of new systems and the integration of existing ones.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams and IT staff.
• Establish and enforce architectural standards, principles, and best practices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Conduct architectural reviews and risk assessments for proposed solutions.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, identifying opportunities for innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in IT, with at least 5 years in an enterprise architecture or senior solutions architect role.
• Proven experience in developing and managing enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).
• Strong understanding of various technology domains including cloud computing (AWS, Azure), enterprise applications (ERP, CRM), data management, and networking.
• Experience with solution design for large-scale, complex environments.
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience with hybrid cloud environments and integration strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor technical teams.
