About the Role

This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth within the insurance market. Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the insurance sector in the Limpopo region.
• Forge and nurture strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including brokers, agents, and corporate clients.
• Develop and execute effective sales and business development strategies to achieve revenue targets.
• Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify market trends and opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients and partners.
• Negotiate and finalize contracts and service agreements.
• Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., product development, marketing, operations) to ensure seamless client onboarding and delivery.
• Provide market feedback and insights to inform product development and strategic planning.

Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in business development, sales, or account management within the financial services or insurance industry.
• Proven track record of achieving significant revenue growth and establishing successful strategic partnerships.
• In-depth understanding of the insurance value chain, products, and market dynamics.
• Knowledge of InsurTech trends and digital transformation in insurance is highly advantageous.
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively in a hybrid work model.
• Willingness to travel within the Polokwane area and broader Limpopo province as required.
• Proficiency in CRM software and sales enablement tools.
