Senior SAP BTP CAP Node.js Developer

Our client needs a senior SAP developer to build cloud apps on SAP BTP that connect to SAP S/4HANA. This is a hands-on, senior individual contributor role. You will report to the SAP BTP Solution Architect and be the team’s technical go-to person for CAP and BTP.

What you’ll do

• Design and build CAP Node.js services (CDS models, handlers, OData V4) on SAP HANA Cloud or PostgreSQL
• Build Fiori elements, SAPUI5 and React frontends and publish them in SAP Build Work Zone
• Connect to S/4HANA (on-premise and Cloud) and SAP Integration Suite, including Cloud Connector and principal propagation
• Set up identity and SSO end to end: SAP Cloud Identity Services, Entra ID federation, role collections, XSUAA
• Own the Azure DevOps YAML pipelines that build, test and deploy MTAs across Dev, QA and Production
• Support production, run code reviews, set standards and mentor other developers

What you need

• 6+ years of SAP development
• 3+ years on SAP BTP Cloud Foundry with CAP Node.js, with at least two live apps supported after go-live
• 3+ years of SAPUI5/Fiori and 2+ years of React with TypeScript
• 2+ years each of SAP HANA Cloud and PostgreSQL
• Hands-on delivery of Cloud Connector with principal propagation, IAS federation/SSO, and Azure DevOps pipelines deploying to BTP
• Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Professional working English

Nice to have
SAP certifications (CAP, Fiori, Integration Suite), Microsoft AZ-400, CAP Java, ABAP Cloud (RAP), Kyma, SAP Build Process Automation, SAP AI Core / Generative AI on BTP, Terraform.
