Key Responsibilities Create compelling and engaging content for various communication channels, including press releases, articles, blog posts, website copy, and social media updates. Develop and implement PR strategies to enhance brand visibility and media presence. Manage media outreach, build relationships with journalists, and pitch relevant stories. Monitor media coverage and social media conversations related to the brand and industry. Assist in the development and execution of integrated marketing and communications campaigns. Ensure brand consistency in all communications and content. Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, sales, product) to gather information and develop communication materials. Analyze the effectiveness of content and PR efforts, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. Support the organization and execution of media events and press conferences. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in content creation and public relations. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a related field. Proven experience (3+ years) in content creation and public relations. Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Demonstrated ability to develop and pitch media stories. Familiarity with SEO principles and content optimization techniques. Experience with social media management tools and platforms. Strong understanding of the media landscape in South Africa.
