Sales Representative: For Shop Fitting & Installation Company – Unique Products

About the Role

• Our client, an established company specialising in shop fitting, installations and the manufacturing of unique, customised products, is looking for a driven and personable Sales Representative to join their team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, visiting clients, building strong relationships and promoting the company’s specialised products and services.
• This role is ideal for a confident, target-driven individual who enjoys working with people, identifying new opportunities and growing a client base.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities through proactive sales and lead generation.
• Visit prospective and existing clients to present the company’s products and services.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
• Follow up on enquiries, prepare quotations and assist with closing sales.
• Understand client requirements and recommend suitable products and solutions.
• Promote the company’s unique shop fitting, manufacturing and installation offerings.
• Maintain regular communication with existing clients to encourage repeat business and identify additional opportunities.
• Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industry trends and new business prospects.
• Manage the sales pipeline and follow up on leads to convert opportunities into sales.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure client requirements are communicated accurately and projects are delivered in line with expectations.
• Maintain accurate records of client visits, sales activities and opportunities.

Minimum Requirements

• Previous sales or business development experience would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• A confident, professional and customer-focused approach.
• Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
• A proactive attitude with the ability to generate leads and pursue new business.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage client visits and follow-ups effectively.
• Must be comfortable travelling to meet clients and develop business opportunities.
• A valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport would be advantageous.
