Data Monitor III

Work Description

Responsible for the ongoing analysis of health care information obtained from a variety of sources, supporting all data collection and analysis activities for the DRIVEDx4TB Study. The role helps ensure accountability and efficiency from start to finish across the study's activities. This is a 12-month fixed-term position.

Technical Work Responsibilities

• Define problems, collect data, establish patterns and draw valid conclusions
• Interpret a wide variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form, including several abstract and concrete variables
• Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
• Compute rate, ratio and percent
• Create and interpret graphs
• Analyse file structure, and use and create file layouts
• Transform raw data into the required information
• Interpret various types and sources of health care information
• Generate detailed reports using complex data
