Electrical Draughtsman

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Draughtsman with a strong background in solar energy systems and Revit software, to join a well-established engineering team, on behalf of our client.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to contribute to exciting, sustainable projects in the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities : Produce accurate electrical designs and drawings for solar energy systems using Revit.

Collaborate with Engineers and Project Managers to deliver high-quality design documentation.

Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations in electrical systems and solar projects.

Review and incorporate client requirements into the design process.

Assist in the preparation of detailed schematics, layouts, and wiring diagrams.

Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure integration of electrical systems with the overall project design.

Support the project lifecycle, from concept through to installation and commissioning.

Key Requirements : Proven experience as an Electrical Draughtsman, ideally with exposure to solar energy systems.

Proficiency in Revit and a strong understanding of electrical design software.

Familiarity with electrical codes, standards, and industry best practices.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Relevant qualification in electrical engineering or a related field (preferred).

Desirable : Experience in designing electrical systems for renewable energy projects, particularly solar installations.

Knowledge of AutoCAD and other design tools.
