Join a dynamic mining operation as Surveyor C1 on a fixed-term contract. This role is ideal for a committed and technically skilled professional who can deliver precise processing survey work while upholding safety and operational excellence.
Requirements:
- Grade 12/ NQF Level 4
- C1 Basic Survey Certificate
- Minimum 2 years survey and sampling experience
- Stope survey and measurement experience (advantageous)
- Basic mine safety principles
- Understanding of rock strata behavior
- Knowledge of harmful gases (advantageous)
- Conduct underground excavation measurements install survey pegs set direction lines and grades and ensure accurate stope and development surveying.
- Survey Data Management & Processing.
- Verify mining horizons identify non-conformances assess ore accumulation and provide corrective guidance to operational teams.
- Support productively initiatives contribute to cost-reduction efforts and participate in change management projects that enhance operational effectiveness.
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Support.
- Adhere to mine safety standards participate in safety meetings conduct workplace inspections and ensure hazard reporting and mitigation.
