My client in the Overberg, Hermanus, is looking for a bookkeeper to join their boutique and dynamic accounting firm.

Area : Hermanus

Type : Full day position, working from home. (Within 1 hour from Hermanus with the ability to attend occasional in-person meetings.)

Salary : Market-related and depending on experience.

Overview

Responsible for day-to-day financial administration using Pastel. This includes bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, payroll processing, and assisting with monthly reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records.
• Manage payroll and pension submissions.
• Conduct monthly bank and payment gateway reconciliations.
• Raise and track invoices, process payments, manage expense claims. Assist with VAT filings and end-of-month reporting packs.
• Support year-end accounting and liaise with external accountants.
