IT Project Manager (P7) RESOURCES & OPERATIONSICT and Computer Services Bloemfontein Campus Main purpose of the job The role of the IT Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize IT projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.

This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.

The Project Manager will also define the projects objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.

The project manager will manage the fulfilment of the project requirements, providing regular status updates to project and portfolio stakeholders and escalating concerns when projects are struggling to meet their commitments for scope, cost, and timelines.

Main tasks Strategy & Planning Acquisition & Deployment Operational Management Organisational Change Management Nature of appointment : Permanent Support Services Minimum salary scale (Total Cost to Company) : R per annum ( salary scales to be confirmed) Note : CUT applies an internal parity model to determine remuneration that complies with the principle of equal pay for work of equal value.

Minimum Qualification / Knowledge and / or Experience Diploma Certifications in PRINCE2 : Foundation / PRINCE2 Practitioner Project Management professional.

Three years direct work experience in a project management capacity.

Desired Qualification, Knowledge and / or Experience University degree.

Certification in ACP : Agile Certified Project Manager.

Five years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.

Five years experience in IT environment will be added advantage.
