This is a specialised sector focussing on the installation and maintenance of MV substations, switchgear, and transformers (including all related sub-components) as well as MV overhead lines (including all related line hardware) and promises to deliver on a specialised experience to the willing individual.

General : As an Electrical overhead linesman, you will work alongside our skilled electricians, providing support in various electrical projects. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your experience in the electrical industry and work with a reputable company.

Responsibilities : Assist electricians in installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems.Follow electrical drawings and instructions to complete tasks.Handle and organize electrical materials and tools.Perform basic electrical tasks under the guidance of electricians / technicians.Maintain a clean and safe work environment.Construct new and maintain MV overhead lines.Be a responsible person that can accept working permit (ORHVS).Do site supervision.Work at heights (Bucket, ladder, climbing shoes).Operate mobile cranes.Do MV overhead line quotations.Sourcing of line material.Qualifications & Skills : Skilled overhead line knowledge.ORHVS responsible person required.Overhead line material knowledge.Experience in using basic electrical- & hand tools.Effective communication with team members.Proficient in speaking & writing in English.Team playerputer literate (Windows / Word / Excel).Requirements : Own reliable transport to Atlas Gardens, Durbanville, CPT.Valid driver's licence : Code C1 (minimum).Willing to work overtime & weekends.Willing to work nationwide.Prior experience as electrical overhead linesman required.Send your CV, ID, qualifications, and salary expectation to :
