PV Solar Design Engineer

Requirements :

• BSc or BEng in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 24 years' experience in solar PV system design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD , Revit , and other relevant design tools.
• Solid understanding of photovoltaic technology , electrical systems , and grid-tied solutions.
• Familiar with South African electrical standards (e.g., SANS, NRS).
• Design and develop complete solar PV systems for commercial and industrial applications.
• Produce electrical schematics and layout drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Perform system simulations and energy yield calculations.
• Support project execution teams with accurate designs and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with local grid codes , electrical standards , and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare technical reports , bill of materials , and other project documentation.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
