Electrical Design Engineer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

System Design : Develop technical designs for electrical projects and renewable energy systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Quotations & Proposals : Assist in preparing technical and commercial proposals for clients.

Project Management : Oversee the execution of renewable energy projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.

Installation Oversight : Supervise the installation process, ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety regulations.

System Sign-Off : Conduct final system inspections, testing, and commissioning, ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Stakeholder Communication : Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.

REQUIREMENTS :

Qualifications : Bachelors degree in electrical engineering (or equivalent).

Preferred registration as Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng.) or a candidate engineer.

Experience : Minimum 4 years of experience in renewable energy system design and project Management.

Technical Expertise : Strong knowledge of solar PV, battery storage, and hybrid energy systems. Regulatory Compliance : Familiarity with local electrical regulations, safety standards, and certification requirements.

Software Proficiency : Experience with electrical design software, 2D / 3D CAD, Helioscope, or similar tools).

Additional Skills : Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, self-starter and the ability to work independently and in a cross-functional team environment
