Duties & Responsibilities

Management of projects

Design and Project Engineering

Consulting clients and contractors - interface electrical services with multi-disciplinary engineering services in construction

Assist with tenders and contracts as well as contractor management on site

Electrical building and consulting services to projects in government and private sectors

Quality and compliance management

Desired Experience & Qualification

Qualifications and skills :

BSc / BEng or BTech degree in Electrical Engineering

ECSA registered Candidate or Professional Electrical Engineer or Engineering Technologist

Must have 5+ years' post qualification working experience in building services and / or infrastructure

Knowledge of large scale renewables highly recommended

Candidates must be residing in Cape Town or prepared to relocate there

Strong management, leadership and people skills

Consulting Engineering experience in infrastructure and / or building services

Electrical building services experience and interfacing with other engineering disciplines

Knowledge of the construction of healthcare services may be beneficial

Must have valid driver's license, own reliable transport and be medically fit to work on building sites

Renewable energy experience would be beneficial but is not essential

Package & Remuneration

Negotiable depending on qualifications and experience
