Job descriptionBachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering Registration with Engineering Council of South Africa or equivalent registration preferred. 8+ years experience, with industrial / process plant or renewable / hydrogen projects exposure. Deep knowledge of IEC, IEEE, NFPA, NEC, SANS, NRS codes. Proficiency in DIgSILENT PowerFactory, ETAP, PSCAD, AutoCAD Electrical or equivalent Demonstrated ability to produce FEED / EPC deliverables. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and cross-disciplinary coordination skills.
The main purpose of the role :
The Senior Electrical Engineer will take a lead role in designing and delivering the electrical scope of a hydrogen production facility, ensuring compliance with all applicable construction standards, grid codes, and hydrogen-specific regulations. This is a deliverables-based role, with responsibility for defined outputs to support the FEED / EPC phases of the project.
