Minimum Requirements : Proven experience as a Conveyancing SecretaryProficiency in conveyancing processes and documentationKnowledge of deceased estates, wills and the related laws and statutes as they relate to conveyancingExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organisation and time management skillsAttention to detail and commitment to accuracyGood command of the English languageExtensive knowledge and experience of Lexis ConveyAbility to work independently and use initiativeKnowledge of South African Property Law and regulations is preferredMust display extensive knowledge of Financial Intelligence Centre Act (FICA), the Deeds Registry Guidelines and Procedures.Performance Areas : Receiving instructions from developers, clients and estate agents to attend to the registration of transfersPreparing various conveyancing and related documents independentlyContacting and liaising with clients, local authorities, estate agents, SARS, managing agents, banks and attorneysAttending to the collection of costs from clientsAttending to issuing and payments of guaranteesCompiling and preparing documents for lodgment and registrationFiling, faxing, photocopying and general office dutiesTyping of letters, emails and faxes independentlyAttending to the deeds office process to successfully register transactionsAttending to all financial aspects of all transactions including final accounts.
