Zeminwe Recruitment is hiring on behalf of a leading fruit export company in Somerset West. As the business continues to expand, we’re seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join the finance team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured environment, enjoys cross-functional collaboration, and is passionate about driving accuracy and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Reconcile bank accounts and maintain accurate financial records
• Manage Accounts Payable & Receivable, including supplier and customer liaison
• Prepare and post journals, maintain ledgers, and oversee account sales
• Support grower advances, vessel finalisations, and intercompany reconciliations
• Handle FOREX transactions and assist with month-end / year-end revaluations
• Assist with payroll processing and staff expense reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and relevant accounting standards
• Use Pastel for invoicing, postings, and reporting
• Collaborate with logistics, commercial, and sales teams for accurate financial records
• Contribute to audit preparation and financial reporting
• Champion digital transformation using Excel, SharePoint, and AI-assisted tools
