IntroductionSPAR Group is looking to recruit a Senior Store Manager to join their dynamic team.

If you have ENERGY, DRIVE, and a PASSION for FMCG Retail and are able to carry out the following responsibilities :

People Management : Manage people effectively to achieve the overall company objectives.Negotiating and Buying : Effectively and confidently negotiate and buy stock in order to maximise Gross Profit within the stipulated budgets.Sales and Expenses : Maximise sales while minimizing expenditure.Store Operations : Effectively able to open and close the store and manage the full store operation accordingly.Customer Service : Create an environment where customer service is a priority.Merchandising and Housekeeping : Ensure that all aspects of merchandising and housekeeping are implemented in accordance with company policies and standards.Security : Implement security procedures according to company standards.Minimum RequirementsGrade - 10 years FMCG Store Management experience as a Senior Store ManagerSPAR background advantageousBuying and negotiating skillsAble bodied and fitVery high energy levelsTeamworkAble to work long / extended hours including weekends and public holidaysInitiativePresentableSelf-confident & enthusiastic approach to administrationSecurity awarenessCreativityPlease note that the Position will be filled in accordance with the Company's Employment Equity Targets.
