Job Summary :
We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant to manage and support core accounting functions, including financial reporting, budget monitoring, tax compliance, and audit preparation. The successful candidate will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data across the organization and play a key role in enhancing financial systems and processes. This position involves collaboration with both senior management and junior staff.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee and coordinate core accounting functions and financial programs.
- Prepare detailed financial analyses and management reports.
- Consolidate financial reports from multiple branches and subsidiaries.
- Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets.
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts and general ledger entries.
- Support annual audit processes and documentation.
- Investigate and resolve audit issues, discrepancies, and non-compliance matters.
- Prepare and submit tax returns in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of accounting systems, processes, and procedures.
- Support and mentor junior accounting staff.
- Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements :
Chartered Accountant (CA) designation non-negotiableBachelors Degree in Accounting or related field3 to 5 years of experience in a similar accounting roleValid Code 8 drivers licenseMembership with a recognized professional accounting bodyProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly ExcelPersonal Attributes :
