Financial Accountant CA(SA) 6months FTC

Reviewing, examining and interpreting of financial records and transactions;

• Technical accounting analysis and application thereof;
• Producing accurate trial balances for all divisions (franchise and equity operations);
• Reconciling and analyzing of general accounts and producing meaningful financial reports to be used by management.
• Responsible for internal & external financial business reporting requirements in line with strict timelines to accurately reflect the organizations’ financial performance, assets & liabilities.
• Ensure accounting and internal control best practices & continuously enhance the efficiency of financial systems and financial reporting.
• Building meaningful relationships with users of financial information, company bankers and auditors.

Qualifications / Competencies / Skills required :

• B Com Accounting Honours - CA (SA)
• 3 to 5 years in fast paced environment
• Strong analytical & end-to-end reporting skill
• Strong technical accounting acumen (US GAAP; IFRS)
• Attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills (especially communication of financial information to non-finance stakeholders)
• Excellent computer literacy skills (Microsoft Suite; application of business intelligence reporting tools)
• Strong communication skills – written and verbal (must be able to translate financial accounting interpretations to non-Finance teams)
• Deadline driven; able to work well under pressure with multiple tasks on hand
• Oracle financial applications (JDE, HFM, FDM)
