Senior Quantity Surveyor - Building Projects Cape Town

A leading construction company is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing costs and contracts for large-scale high-rise building projects in the city. Key Responsibilities : Oversee all cost management and financial aspects of high-rise projects. Prepare and manage tender documentation, contracts, and variations. Conduct accurate cost forecasting, budgeting, and reporting. Ensure compliance with contractual, legal, and financial requirements. Liaise with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Manage subcontractor accounts and valuations. Requirements : BSc or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying. Minimum 8 years experience in quantity surveying, with at least 3 years in senior capacity. Proven track record on large high-rise building projects. Strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., JBCC, NEC, FIDIC). Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
