Maintenance Handyperson - Full-Time, Permanent Role We're looking for a Maintenance Handyperson to join our team at The Rees Hotel!

You'll play a key role in ensuring our hotel buildings, grounds and facilities are always maintained to the highest standard.

From fixing room fittings to keeping our outdoor areas in top shape, your contributions will help create an exceptional experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities : Perform repairs and maintenance across hotel buildings, equipment, and assetsKeep car parks, driveways, walkways, and grounds clean and well-maintained, including managing the refuse areaAssist with moving and setting up furniture for conference roomsHandle a variety of tasks including painting, silicone work, and general handy jobsRecord and update maintenance tasks in our FIIX system, ensuring timely communication of task completionPrepare arrival rooms each day and conduct room audits for any damageWhat We're Looking For : A minimum of 1 year of relevant experienceFull NZ driver's license (must be able to drive a manual vehicle)Trade skills and experience with tools / equipment are highly desirablePrevious facilities maintenance experience is a strong advantageKnowledge of safe chemical handling practices is preferredComfortable working outdoors in all weather conditionsAbility to juggle multiple tasks and manage time effectively in a busy hotel environmentPhysically fit and well-presented with attention to detailAvailability to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings (until 7pm), weekends, and public holidaysWhat's in it for You?
