Key qualifications and experience for the CLO Analyst
Minimum relevant Accounting / Finance BCom degreeMinimum 3-5 years’ related experience in investment operations specifically reconciliationRelevant industry experience ( Financial Services / Asset Management )Advanced proficiency in Microsoft ExcelFamiliarity with systems such as WSOWeb or Moodys Compliance (advantageous)Experience in completing the full process of reconciling – NBStrong experience in cashflow reconciliation, analysing data, and identifying discrepancies – NBKey duties for the CLO Analyst
Reconcile monthly Trustee reports and quarterly Note Valuation reports with internal systems, identifying and resolving any collateral, compliance test, or transactional discrepancies that arise.Assist with interpreting and applying complex transaction documentation by calculating and modelling waterfall payments, management fees, ISDA implications, covenant guidelines, and restrictions.Review portfolio legal documents in collaboration with underwriters, counsel, rating agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure accuracy and compliance.Forecast fund income , expenses, accruals, and investor returns ahead of quarterly payment dates to support effective financial planning.Ensure all portfolio trades and restructures adhere strictly to portfolio legal requirements through diligent monitoring and review.Support daily, weekly, and quarterly reporting processes related to rating reconciliation and CLO Net Asset Value calculations.Respond promptly to Due Diligence Questionnaire (DDQ) and Request for Proposal (RFP) requests concerning CLOs and financing matters for investors as well as internal portfolio management teams.Maintain accurate data within internal systems such as WSOWeb and Moodys Compliance Systems to ensure integrity across all operational functions.Collaborate closely with global teams based in New York and London to share insights, resolve issues efficiently, and drive best practices across regions.Key skills
