The Commvault Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of data protection solutions using Commvault software. The role includes managing backup operations, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring data recovery processes are efficient and reliable.

Responsibilities

Design and implement Commvault data protection solutions
Manage and monitor backup and recovery operations
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with backup systems
Ensure data compliance and integrity
Perform regular disaster recovery tests
Optimize backup performance and storage utilization
Document procedures and processes related to data protection

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Proven experience with Commvault software & certification

Strong understanding of backup and recovery processes

Knowledge of data storage and management best practices

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Strong verbal and written communication abilities
