Key Responsibilities :
- Lead or contribute to the design and integration of mechanical, electrical, and structural subsystems for land-based platforms (e.g., armoured vehicles, support vehicles, and autonomous ground systems).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop system requirements and ensure design compliance.
- Conduct feasibility studies, design reviews, and system-level trade-offs.
- Produce detailed CAD models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
- Support the testing, validation, and verification of prototypes and final systems.
- Interface with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
Essential Requirements :
Degree in Mechanical, Systems, or Mechatronics Engineering (or a related discipline).3+ years of experience in land systems, defence, automotive, or heavy vehicle design.Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, and Siemens NX).Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and lifecycle management.Experience with military standards, survivability, mobility, and human factors considerations.Desirable Skills :
Experience in working with tracked or wheeled military vehicles.Knowledge of ISO 26262, MIL-STD-810, or DEF-STAN standards.Familiarity with additive manufacturing, FEA, or CFD analysis.Security clearance (or eligibility to obtain it).
