Production Planner

My client is seeking to employ a Production Planner on Contract with strong SAP experience in the automotive industry.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating production schedules, ensuring efficient material flow, and optimizing resources to meet customer demands and production targets.Duties include : Develop, manage, and optimize production schedules using SAP.Monitor material availability and coordinate with procurement to prevent shortages.Analyze customer orders, forecasts, and demand trends to plan production efficiently.Ensure alignment between production capacity and demand, adjusting schedules as needed.Coordinate with manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain teams to optimize workflows.Track KPIs related to production efficiency, downtime, and on-time delivery.Maintain accurate SAP records for work orders, material planning, and inventory control.Minimum Requirements : Bachelor's degree / diploma in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Production Management, or a related field.3-5+ years in production planning / scheduling within the automotive industry.Strong experience with SAP (PP, MM, or related modules).Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Just-In-Time (JIT), and Kanban principles.
