Engineering Surveyor -  AustraliaIntroductionConsultANZ is seeking a Engineering Surveyor for a Australia based project. The works typically involve calculations and data processing, reading and interpreting drawings, conducting as-built reports and survey monitoring and scanning on typically small to medium-sized projects.Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe main duties include, but are not limited to the following : Setting out for works, survey guidance systems.Survey monitoring and scanning.Reading and interpreting drawings.Calculations and data processing.Conducting as-built reports.Supervising / assisting junior team members.Liaising with the client and other key stakeholders.Ensuring all OH&S procedures are being adhered to.Desired Experience & QualificationRequirementsThe successful candidate will bring to the role;A relevant degree in Land or Engineering Surveying or equivalentExcellent communication skills, particularly with site personnel and Project Managers.Highly proficient field and office work.Ability to manage / adhere to project timelines.A firm understanding of providing survey functions for civil and construction worksA good understanding and experience with modern survey instrumentation, including 1 man total stations, GPS, data modelling and manipulation through a survey CAD package.Benefits$90- $110k base + packagePlease note that this is a sponsorship opportunity for South-African candidatesInterested?Send resume to
