Quantity Surveyor (Roads and Earthworks) Construction Industry

Description

RPO Recruitments client a well-established civil engineering contractor in Gauteng is currently seeking a technically skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team in Johannesburg as soon as possible.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare accurate bills of quantities pricing schedules and tender submissions
• Support subcontractor procurement processes including scope definition tender evaluation and appointment
• Measure and value work on-site and off drawings for monthly valuations and final accounts
• Prepare and monitor project cost reports budgets and forecasts
• Process and track variation orders and assist in managing contractual claims
• Contribute to progress claims and payment certificates for both subcontractors and clients
• Attend site meetings and assist with project status reporting
• Ensure proper cost documentation and compliance with project procedures
• Collaborate with engineers site personnel and clients to ensure cost-effective project delivery
