We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Full Stack Java Developer to join our dynamic development team.

As a Senior Full Stack Developer , you will play a key role in designing and building high-performance applications that are scalable, robust, and user-friendly.

From crafting backend APIs to building engaging front-end interfaces, you''ll be involved in the full software development lifecycle and help shape the future of our digital products.

Requirements :

IT Degree and / or relevant qualifications
12+ years of experience
Azure
GitHub and GitHub Actions
OpenSearch
Grafana stack (including visualisation, Loki, Tempo, Mimir, Prometheus)
Kafka
Technical : Java 17+, J2E, Junit, SQL Queries and optimisation, JAX-RS, JPA, JTA, ORM, Flyway, Angular 16+, Typescript, Karma / Jasmine, HTML / CSS, Web components, PostgreSQL, Maven, Jira / Confluence, X-Ray
Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter
Web and digital project experience advantageous
Agile working experience advantageous

Responsibilities :

Operational support (including afterhours standby)

Understanding of integration between different technologies

Coordination between development and support environments

Assisting with the business case

Planning and monitoring

Translating and simplifying requirements

Requirements processing, gathering, analysis, management and communication

Document requirements in appropriate format depending

Reference Number for this position is GZ60523 which is a contract position based in Midrand / Centurion / Semi-Remote offering a contract rate of R650 to R750 per hour
