Educational Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (mandatory).

Postgraduate qualification (MBA, MSc in IT / Engineering) advantageous.

Professional Certifications (preferred / required) :

Cloud certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer, Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer).

Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD).

Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef).

Security / Compliance certifications (CISSP, CISM, or cloud security).

Agile / SAFe certifications (Scrum Master, SAFe Practitioner).

Relevant Experience

812 years experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or infrastructure roles, with at least 35 years in a leadership capacity.

Proven experience building and scaling DevOps practices in enterprise or fintech environments.

Hands-on expertise with CI / CD, automation, container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker), and monitoring tools.

Strong background in cloud-native architectures and hybrid cloud platforms.

Experience implementing SRE practices, observability, and incident response frameworks.

Familiarity with regulated industries (banking, fintech, telecom, healthcare) preferred.

Core Skills & Competencies

Deep expertise in DevOps tools, cloud infrastructure, and automation practices.

Strong leadership and people management skills, with a proven ability to grow high-performing DevOps teams.

Excellent knowledge of security, compliance, and governance in DevOps.

Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Ability to balance innovation, speed-to-market, and operational stability.
