Job descriptionTechnical Leadership : Provide technical guidance and leadership to a team of design engineers. Product Development : Lead the design and development of new mining equipment and enhancements to existing products. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize product designs for performance, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness. Manage design projects from inception to completion, including resource allocation, scheduling, budgeting, and milestone tracking. Work closely with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, procurement, quality assurance, and sales. Oversee Prototype Testing Prepare and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and test reports.

Job Requirements :
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Masters degree preferred.
- Proven experience (5 to 10 years) in a similar role within the mining or heavy equipment industry.
- Strong proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.)
- Deep understanding of mechanical design principles, materials selection, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
