Job descriptionExecution of planned production activities. Ensuring targets are achieved. Pre-shift meeting and inspection of work areas. Dump Control. Load and Hauling. Loading areas. Administration. National Senior Certificate. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license. Must have an open pit blasting or rock breaking certificate. Competency A / Legal Liability. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an open pit mining environment. Minimum of 2 years’ supervisory experience. Must have proven experience with open pit heavy equipment fleet and open pit operations and mechanical inclined. Previous experience with loading and hauling in open pit mining environment. Excellent verbal and written communication in English. Must be medically fit and pass a medical examination / Dover as required from the designated mines. Ability to work under pressure and to meet strict deadlines as determined by the supervisor. Must possess basic problem solving, basic self-management.
