Position Overview
At Two Roads, the Pricing Accountant is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining pricing strategies across all product lines and services. This role requires strong analytical skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and the ability to monitor market dynamics to ensure competitive and profitable pricing structures.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain pricing models and structures using advanced Excel formulas and financial calculations
- Set up, update, and monitor pricing for all products / services to ensure competitiveness and profitability
- Conduct ongoing market research and competitor analysis to identify pricing trends and opportunities
- Provide strategic pricing advice and recommendations to management and various operational teams
- Perform cost analysis, margin calculations, and profitability assessments across product lines and customer segments
- Monitor market dynamics, economic factors, and cost fluctuations that impact pricing decisions
- Prepare detailed pricing reports, variance analysis, and present insights to stakeholders
- Maintain pricing databases, develop pricing tools, and ensure data accuracy across all systems
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Procurement teams to support quotations, tenders, and contract negotiations
- Ensure pricing compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Requirements
Education :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fieldProfessional accounting qualification (CA, CIMA, ACCA) preferredExperience :
3-5 years of experience in pricing, cost accounting, or financial analysisProven experience in developing and implementing pricing strategiesExperience in market analysis and competitive bench markingTechnical Skills :
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (complex formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, VBA / macros)Strong understanding of costing methodologies and margin calculationsProficiency in financial modeling and pricing analyticsExperience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) preferredKnowledge of business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau) advantageousKey Competencies :
