Accountant Position

Our client in Westville is looking for an accountant to join their team. Based in the construction industry, the role will include looking after a small group of related companies. Experience of accounting in the construction industry would be highly desirable.

Role :

• Manage the entire accounting function for the business including attending to the bookkeeping function in Pastel and liaising with the HR officer for payroll.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and reporting packs for the business.
• Prepare budgets and monitor as required by the director.
• Work with the external accountants for year-end purposes, preparing packs and reconciliations.
• Attend to SARs returns, verifications, and queries.

Desired Experience and Qualifications :

The salary is dependent on the level of experience and academic study, and as such the range for this role is very open at R15000+ CTC per month.
