Job descriptionDevelop analytics tools and strategies to enhance credit processes Assist with building and improving analytical and reporting capabilities Conduct quantitative research and develop credit models Perform in-depth credit analysis and monitor risk of borrowers and issuers Assess market trends and company fundamentals influencing credit investments Monitor risk-adjusted returns and make portfolio optimisation recommendations Originate new debt investments and engage with issuers and arrangers Contribute to responsible investment strategies and ESG integration Miniumum of a Postgraduate degree in Finance, Engineering, Sciences or Masters CA(SA) with Financial Services / FEG experience advantageous CFA qualified or currently studying towards CFA / Masters Strong financial modelling and advanced Excel skills - this is essential Experience in Private Debt, Hybrid Debt, or Project Finance advantageous Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical ability Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Comfortable working in uncertain, complex environments Results-driven, self-motivated, and energetic problem-solver Strong EQ, assertive, confident, and open to diverse input Passionate about investments and technology-savvy Opportunity to work with an exceptional team of passionate investment professionals High growth potential within a leading investment management firm Chance to contribute to innovation through research and technology
