Job descriptionGrade 12. 1 – 2 years relevant Magento experience. Relevant Retail exposure. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., System Software, Web Development, or related). Proven experience in web content management or a related role. Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and website administration tools. Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills. Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Experience with SEO best practices and tools. Graphic design skills or experience with image and video editing tools. Familiarity with web analytics and data-driven decision-making. Knowledge of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) principles. Basic understanding of web accessibility (WCAG) guidelines. Certifications in web content management or related fields. Written and verbal communication skills. Report writing. Interpersonal skills. Planning and prioritising. Attention to detail. Web Design. Collaborate with various teams to gather, create, and review web content. Performing daily content audits to identify and rectify outdated or irrelevant information. Optimize web content for search engines (SEO) and ensure high visibility on search results. Monitor and troubleshoot any technical issues related to web content. Staying up-to-date with industry best practices for web content management. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to web content. Stay updated on web design and content management trends. Introduction
Pepkor Lifestyle is looking for a motivated and self-driven Web Content Administrator to join our dynamic team in the Digital Department. This individual will be required to provide customers with an excellent online shopping experience by enriching product information and images for eCommerce platforms.
As a Web Content Administrator at Pepkor Lifestyle, you will be responsible for the management and administration of our website's content, ensuring that it is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with our brand identity. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain and optimize our online presence. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality web content.
